TOURTech will be kicking off a year-long celebration of fifteen years in the event production industry with a special business & technology summit – TOURtech 15 Summit – at industry conference FestForums in Santa Barbara at the Fess Parker Resort November 16-18, 2017.

The Summit portion of Fest Forums will a feature and Keynote three panels, all curated by TOURtech CEO & Founder Allen Cook.

Panel #1:  WTF is Event Technology?

Overview: Through enablement, engagement, and entertainment, “event technology” encompasses a wide spectrum of services. In this panel, Allen Cook and guests help break down this broad topic and discuss the effect of technological convergence at your event. Technology is no longer defined as just a device or an app and should not be looked at in isolation. It is intertwined throughout an event with differing objectives and budgets that can both complement or compete with one another, especially as live streaming, real-time social media marketing, direct-to-fan engagement, and cashless payment systems become more prevalent.
