Band Together hosted their 2019 Main Event at Red Amphitheater in Raleigh, NC this past weekend and it was a huge success.
The event raised over $1 million for the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, which operates in a seven-county service area in central North Carolina, including: Wake, Durham, Johnston, Orange, Chatham, Nash and Edgecombe counties. Their mission is to pioneer innovative, transformative solutions designed to end hunger in our community, and each year they recover and distribute 6 million pounds of food to low income neighbors, and teach skills for self-sufficiency including culinary job skills, shopping and cooking healthy on a budget, and how to grow food.
TOURtech had a volunteer crew onsite Saturday to help the cause by providing Public Wi-Fi for the main bowl at Red Hat Amphitheater, and connectivity for production and online bidding in the VIP Tent.
“We are proud to have been part of another successful Band Together,” said TOURtech Founder & CEO, Allen Cook. “Our team spends so much time scattered across the country and the Main Event is our opportunity to work together for the benefit of our community.”
