  • Ability to communicate with non-technical clients
  • Ability to get the job done despite adverse conditions
  • Can speak intelligently about TCP/IP technology
  • Understands VLAN tags

Network Engineer (Contractor)

This position requires excellent work ethic, flexibility and willingness to work long hours, ability and desire to travel, and a strong interest in event production. Strong interpersonal skills a MUST.

Skill Requirements:

  • Ability to facilitate technical conversations involving networks with both experienced and novice clients/staff
  • Deep understanding and application of wireless technology (channel planning, interference detection and correction)
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP protocols and packet level traffic
  • Deep understanding of IP routing
  • Routinely inspects air quality for PtP links and end user access
  • Routinely tests network for performance and troubleshooting

Network Technician (Contractor)

Skill Requirements:

  • Understands wireless technology (interference, the importance of standard channels, etc)
  • Ability to patch the NOC rack
  • Familiarity with network monitoring practices
  • Familiarity with common wireless controllers and their operation
  • Ensures monitoring is operational and accurate
  • Familiarity with VLAN tagging

Utility Technician (Contractor)

Skill Requirements:

  • Ability to terminate Cat5 cable to TIA-568B Standard
  • Knowledge of physical cabling/connections (RJ45, fiber, etc) and conventions
  • Ability to follow equipment deployment standards
