Overview: Through enablement, engagement, and entertainment, “event technology” encompasses a wide spectrum of services. In this panel, Allen Cook and guests help break down this broad topic and discuss the effect of technological convergence at your event. Technology is no longer defined as just a device or an app and should not be looked at in isolation. It is intertwined throughout an event with differing objectives and budgets that can both complement or compete with one another, especially as live streaming, real-time social media marketing, direct-to-fan engagement, and cashless payment systems become more prevalent. Join this team to better understand the depths and crossover of these categories of event technology.

Overview: Your budgeting team told you, “It’s just not in the budget”… now what? Overcoming objections is a universal obstacle but a critical component if it gets between your client’s monetary limitations and delivering the best solution to meet the client’s goals and objectives. Learn what decision-makers need to justify and receive approval for your service costs while keeping an eye on your own profit and revenue objectives. Receive tips on providing materials and information to clients that help them to easily build a business case to secure your services. And learn how to see the bigger budgeting picture and perspectives that can open creative avenues for shifting and allocating costs in order to win the business.
